| This book lets you see how a real engine operates, not how an idealized, thermodynamically perfect, one does. It's a shame that more books on jet engine technology do not touch on the real world aspects of designing, constructing, and maintaining a turnine engine like this one does. It is a little brief, but would complement a good book on propulsion thermodynamics. |
