DIRECTV Offers ESPN Deportes To PARA TODOS Customers

New ESPN Sunday Night Programming Offers Spanish Language Telecasts of MLB and NFL Games and SportsCenter

El Segundo, CA, Mar 28, 2001 -- DIRECTV, the nation's leading digital satellite television service, will offer ESPN Deportes to select customers beginning April 1. Customers subscribing to the DIRECTV PARA TODOS programming service OPCIÓN EXTRA ESPECIAL monthly programming and above, will receive ESPN Deportes at no additional cost for 52 consecutive Sundays.

The new four to six hour block of Spanish language ESPN programming will air each Sunday and feature full seasons of Sunday Night Baseball and Sunday Night NFL broadcasts in Spanish, exclusive boxing events, as well as a Spanish-language version of the popular ESPN sports news show SportsCenter.
