AZCAR Gets Contract With EchoStar's DISH Network

MARKHAM, ONTARIO - June 28, 2001--AZCAR Technologies Incorporated announced it has signed a contract for $4.4 million (Cdn) with EchoStar Communications Corporation (NASDAQ: DISH - news, DISHP - news) for broadcast system design, project management, system integration and installation of phase 2 of the EchoStar satellite uplink facility in Gilbert, Arizona.

The new design and implementation work will begin immediately with completion scheduled for the fourth quarter 2001.
