DISH Network Offers South American Qualifiers Soccer Tournament

LITTLETON, Colo.--(BW SportsWire)--April 19, 2001--DISH Network(TM) is excited to announce today that it will broadcast the 2002 South American Qualifiers soccer games LIVE on DISH-On-Demand pay-per-view, on Tuesday, April 24, and Wednesday, April 25.

Three games of the Confederacion Sudamericana de Futbol will be available on DISH-On-Demand on April 24 and 25, involving six teams: Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Peru, Argentina, and Uruguay. The 2002 South American Qualifiers include key players, such as Roberto Palacios of Peru, Alvaro Recoba of Uruguay and Ivan Zamorano of Chile. The four best South American teams automatically qualify for the finals. DISH Network subscribers can purchase each individual game for $19.95, or all three games are available for $44.95.
