DISH Network Adds Lifetime Movie Network to Programming Lineup

NEW YORK--(ENTERTAINMENT WIRE)--Oct. 10, 2000--EchoStar Communications Corporation and Lifetime Entertainment Services announced that LifetimeŽ Movie Network, the sister channel to Lifetime Television, is now available to over 4.3 million DISH Network(TM) satellite television customers on channel 109.

Lifetime Movie Network is a 24-hour network featuring television movies, theatricals, miniseries and exclusive programming for and about women.

``We are pleased to include Lifetime Movie Network in our strong lineup of entertainment channels,'' said Michael Schwimmer, vice president of Programming at EchoStar. ``Lifetime Movie Network offers DISH Network customers diverse, high-quality content from a known and trusted brand in women's television.''

``Since DISH Network customers already enjoy access to Lifetime, this service is an excellent platform for its sister network,'' said Louise Henry Bryson, executive vice president, Distribution and Business Development, for Lifetime Entertainment. ``We're excited to reach a broader base of viewers with our premiere movie channel for women through DISH Network satellite television.''

Throughout October, Lifetime Movie Network will premiere exclusive movies every Monday at 8 p.m. ET as well as a special week of exclusives every night during Oct. 16-20, which will feature popular actresses such as Whoopi Goldberg, Sissy Spacek, Bridget Fonda and Tea Leoni. Also in the lineup this month is Lifetime Movie Network's ``Halloween Thriller Nights'' movie marathons premiering Oct. 30-31.
