Dish Network Satellite TV to Add Fox Sports World to America's Top 150 Programming Package

LITTLETON, Colo.--(Business Wire)--Nov. 2, 2000-- EchoStar Communications Corp.   announced today that DISH Network(TM) will add Fox Sports World to America's Top 150 programming package beginning Nov. 8 at no additional cost to customers.

Fox Sports World (channel 149) is the first and only 24-hour, English-language international sports network in the United States. Fox Sports World delivers exclusive popular sporting events from around the world including coverage of major soccer tournaments, championship rugby, cricket and year-round sports news.

Soccer coverage on Fox Sports World includes regular season league and championship games of the top leagues from England, Italy, Holland, Chile and Argentina. Soccer tournament coverage also includes the 2002 World Cup Qualifiers, Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup, UEFA Cup, Worthington Cup, Asian Super Cup, Asian Cup Winners Cup Finals and Asian Club Championship. Rugby coverage includes complete season telecasts of Six Nations, Tri-Nations, Super 12, European Cup and other international matches. Other sports, such as Aussie Rules Football, Formula One Racing, World Championship Darts, Gymnastics, Cricket and the Gaelic Games, enhance the complete Fox Sports World international lineup.
